Come along to our 4 week course of baby massage, very kindly led by our fellow twin mum, Fiona Macfarlane. This is aimed at those with babies from 6 weeks old, up to one year. Here's what Fiona has to say : I live in Tooting and I'm married with four children, we thought long and hard about having a third child and along came two. I have been an antenatal teacher for the NCT for six years teaching all over Nappy Valley and trained as an IAIM Baby Massage Instructor in February 2016. I have had a few twin parents on my baby massage courses but found that it was harder for them to access the benefits of massage as classes could be more difficult with two. A course of four classes would cost £5 which would include oils, an instruction booklet and a certificate at the end. Parents can come on their own or if mum and dad are both around that would be great too. As the main focus of massage is bonding and attachment it's aimed at parents and not nannies or grand parents. But you could go on to teach the strokes so you could get some help. All classes are totally baby focused and we add to the strokes each week so you have multiple opportunities to learn the new ones. This is great so if you need to feed or change you can sit and watch and you would massage which ever baby is more receptive at the time. As a group of twin mums it will be a supportive and nurturing environment in which we can talk about the challenges we face and provide support to each other.    £5 is payable to Fiona on the first day, and we are limited to 6 sets of twins so please get a ticket to ensure you have a place and the course will run for the first 4 Fridays in March, so the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.  

Come along to the babies and crawlers playgroup at it's new time and place. We'll be at Cafe 207 but in the lounge area in a separate building. It's in a lovely warm room and there'll be mats and toys for the babies. The Cafe will be open serving lattes and snacks for you to buy. To access the lounge, you go down the side of the main building (outside) and go round the corner into the building ahead of you and we're in the first room you get to. There's parking on the roads off Trinity Road and it's a short walk from Wandsworth Common train station.  We look forward to seeing lots of you there.

There's toys for all ages and lots of space for the little ones to run/crawl/toddle around in. There's a hot cuppa for the adults and snacks for the children and we'll have a little sing-a-long too. Playgroup is free to attend but when we have Lily there doing the singing then we ask for a voluntary contribution to help pay for this.  There are parking spaces outside the church but it's permits only between 10&12 and you can only pay to park for an hour at a time. There are spaces round the corner on Atkins Road where you can park for longer. There are bus routes which stop nearby and it's a 10 ish minute walk from Balham station. Please note : To gain entry, please press the buzzer for 'Church' and one of us will let you in. Also, if your little ones are older and not sleeping, the church would prefer it if you left your buggy outside in the buggy park. 

The 2nd Girls Night Out of 2017 will be on Tuesday 28th February in Putney. Come along to meet other mums and share the joys and challenges of parenting multiples (or just have a natter!). And if you can't make it this month, our next GNO will be on Wednesday 29 March in Tooting Bec. If you don't know anyone, please don't think you can't come along, it's very relaxed and we're all very friendly so hope to see you there!
